PromptScout's advanced optimization feature uses AI to enhance your prompts, improving their effectiveness for any LLM.
Prompt optimization is a multi-step process that analyzes and enhances your prompts using specialized AI models. This feature helps you create more effective prompts by improving their structure, adding relevant context, incorporating LLM-specific constraints, and refining the clarity and specificity.
The optimization process leverages two powerful APIs:
Analyzes the prompt structure and improves formatting and organization
Adds relevant context based on the prompt description
Adds constraints to make the prompt work better with the target LLM
Performs a final clarity and specificity pass to ensure the prompt is effective
After optimization, you'll receive:
The prompt optimization feature is available with usage limits based on your subscription tier.
| Plan | Monthly Optimizations | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Free | 5 | $0 |
| Premium | 50 | $9.99/month |
| Enterprise | Unlimited | Contact sales |
If you need more optimizations than your subscription allows, you can use your own API keys for unlimited optimizations.
Benefits of using your own API keys:
Note: You are responsible for any charges from the API providers when using your own keys.
To use your own API keys for prompt optimization, follow these steps:
Go to your Profile Settings → API Keys tab and add both the Brave and Tavily API keys.
When using the prompt optimization feature, check the "Use my own API keys" option.
Your API keys are securely stored with encryption and are never shared with third parties. We only use them to make API requests on your behalf when you choose to use your own keys for optimization.
To optimize a prompt:
Go to Create New Prompt
Fill in your prompt content, description, and select a target LLM
If you want to use your own API keys, check the "Use my own API keys" option
Click the "Optimize Prompt" button and wait for the optimization process to complete
Review the optimization results, which include the optimized prompt, improvements made, and techniques applied
